Stratas Foods Wins Quality and Service Award from Dot Foods for the Second Year in a Row

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, May 16, 2018—Stratas Foods was recently awarded the 2017 Quality and Service Award by Dot Foods, the nation’s largest food industry redistributor. This is the second year in a row Stratas Foods has won the award, which recognizes Dot’s top-performing manufacturer partners in the areas of quality and service.

Dot’s annual Quality & Service Award program began in 1998 as a way to highlight manufacturer partners who provide best-in-class communication, service and support to Dot. Manufacturers are evaluated monthly on criteria which include inbound service levels, EDI implementation, proactive communication of offering changes and loading efficiency.

“Our business was founded on a commitment to exceptional customer service,” said Dot Foods President Dick Tracy. “Our Quality & Service Award winners consistently go above and beyond to help us deliver on that promise. We congratulate the companies who earned a 2017 Quality & Service Award. We thank you for all you do to help us serve our customers.”

Dot and its manufacturer partners agree that working together to improve efficiencies in their partnership is a win-win.

“One of Stratas’ four focus areas is to ‘Deliver service and quality that our customers recognize as outstanding’, so it is very rewarding to see Stratas receive recognition for delivering on that part of our vision,” said Tom Bandler, Sr. Director Corporate Marketing for Stratas Foods LLC. “To receive the Dot Quality and Service Award two years in a row is a testament to the great work our Stratas Foods employees produce each year.”
