Butter Pecan Balls

Ingredients

Pastry
  • 4 lbs. granulated sugar
  • 4 lbs. 
  • 2 lbs.  
  • 2 oz. salt
  • 1 whole egg
  • 9 lbs. cake or cookie flour
  • Vanilla to taste
  • 2 lbs. crushed pecans

Directions

  1. Cream sugar, , and salt on low speed until blended.
  2. Add egg and cream.
  3. Add flour and vanilla and mix until smooth.
  4. Add and blend pecans.
  5. Roll into rope form.
  6. Cut into small pieces, hiclory nut size, and form into a ball.
  7. Bake lightly at 350° F.
  8. May be dusted with 6 x sugar when cool.
